What Do I Do?

As you may have gathered, time for Grandpa and Grandma is getting short. Their minds are beginning to fade, and Grandma's Parkinsons is taking over many of her abilities. At this point, she is still enjoying doing puzzles, so we've sent her a puzzle with our family picture on it. As she works it, she can remember all of us.

Grandpa wanted to celebrate Grandma's Christmas birthday in a very special way this year. We would you each (including children) to please write a note AND then make a short video of yourself saying "Happy Birthday" to Grandma, who will be 90 on Christmas day—you can use this website to upload the notes and videos you create—then make a separate video for Grandpa, who will be 89 in February.

Perhaps the written notes could say thank you for this special Christmas gift, letting them know what you will do with it. And then the videos could tell something special you remember about each of them. If we could have the notes in our possession and videos uploaded to this website by December 15th, that would be great.

We depart for Arizona on the 22nd. We will make a special presentation to Grandma on Christmas day, and we will save Grandpa's video for his birthday in February.

Grandma knows nothing about any of this, and Grandpa is unaware we are expanding to do something for his birthday as well.
